Hadith 230:1
Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, he said: Sharik narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, he said: A man from the people of Syria called out on the day of Siffin: "Is Uways al-Qarani among you?" They said: "Yes." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'Indeed, among the best of the Tabi'in is Uways al-Qarani.'"
حدثنا أبو نعيم، قال: حدثنا شريك، عن يزيد بن أبي زياد، عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى، قال: نادى رجل من أهل الشام يوم صفين: أفيكم أويس القرني؟ قالوا: نعم، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " إن من خير التابعين أويسا القرني "
