Musnad Ahmad 314:1

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Thawban, from a man of the Ansar from the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "It is a duty upon every Muslim to perform ghusl on the day of Jumu'ah, use the miswak, and apply some perfume if his family has any."
