Hadith of a man from the Ansar (RA)

حديث رجل من الأنصار

Hadith 324:2

'Affan narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, he said: Abu Bishr narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Bilal al-Laythi, who said: I prayed with a group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and they told me: That they used to pray the Maghrib prayer with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then they would depart and shoot arrows at one another, and the places where their arrows landed would not be hidden from them, until they reached their homes at the furthest end of Medina.

حدثنا عفان، قال: حدثنا أبو عوانة، قال: حدثنا أبو بشر، عن علي بن بلال الليثي قال: صليت مع نفر من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فحدثوني: أنهم " كانوا يصلون المغرب مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم ينطلقون يترامون لا يخفى عليهم مواقع سهامهم، حتى يأتون ديارهم في أقصى المدينة "
