Hadith 637:1
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Husayn, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja‘d, from a man among us from Ashja‘, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a gold ring on me, so he ordered me to cast it away, and I have cast it away until this day of mine."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن حصين، عن سالم بن أبي الجعد، عن رجل، منا من أشجع، قال: " رأى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم علي خاتما من ذهب، فأمرني أن أطرحه، فطرحته إلى يومي هذا "
