Hadith 1075:1
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from a man from Aslam, that he was stung. He mentioned that to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "If you had said when you reached the evening: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created,' it would not have harmed you." Suhayl said: "My father, when one of us was stung, would say: 'Did you say it?' If they said: 'Yes,' he would say: 'As if he sees that it does not harm him.'"
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن سهيل بن أبي صالح، عن أبيه، عن رجل، من أسلم، أنه لدغ، فذكر ذلك للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لو أنك قلت حين أمسيت: أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق، لم تضرك " قال سهيل: " فكان أبي إذا لدغ أحد منا يقول: قالها فإن قالوا: نعم، قال: كأنه يرى أنها لا تضره "
