Hadith 166:1
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Yahya informed us that Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi informed him that Isa ibn Talhah ibn Ubayd Allah informed him that Umayr ibn Salamah al-Damri informed him, from a man from Bahz, that he went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, intending for Makkah. Until when they were in some part of the valley of al-Rawha, the people found a wounded wild donkey, so they mentioned it to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He said: "Leave it until its owner comes." Then the Bahzi came, and he was its owner, and he said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is your affair with this donkey?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, ordered Abu Bakr, so he divided it among the companions, while they were in the state of ihram. He said: Then we passed on until when we were at al-Athayah, we were suddenly with a gazelle lying down in the shade, in which there was an arrow. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, ordered a man to stand by it until the people had passed it.
