Hadith of a man from Banu al-Dil
حديث رجل من بني الديل
Hadith 567:1
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: 'Imran ibn Abi Anas narrated to me, from Hanzalah ibn 'Ali al-Aslami, from a man from Banu al-Dil, who said: I prayed Dhuhr in my house, then I went out with camels of mine to take them to the shepherd. I passed by the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while he was leading the people in the Dhuhr prayer, so I continued on and did not pray with him. When I had taken my camels to the shepherd and returned, that was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he said to me: "What prevented you, O so-and-so, from praying with us when you passed by us?" He said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I had already prayed in my house." He said: "Even so."
حدثنا يعقوب، حدثنا أبي، عن ابن إسحاق، قال: حدثني عمران بن أبي أنس، عن حنظلة بن علي الأسلمي، عن رجل، من بني الديل قال: صليت الظهر في بيتي، ثم خرجت بأباعر لي لأصدرها إلى الراعي، فمررت برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يصلي بالناس الظهر، فمضيت فلم أصل معه، فلما أصدرت أباعري ورجعت، ذكر ذلك لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال لي: " ما منعك يا فلان أن تصلي معنا حين مررت بنا؟ " قال: فقلت يا رسول الله، إني قد كنت صليت في بيتي، قال: " وإن "
