Hadith 1073:1
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from a man from Banu Asad, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "A man does not ask while he possesses an uqiyah or its equivalent, except that he has asked importunately."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، عن سفيان، عن زيد بن أسلم، عن عطاء بن يسار، عن رجل من بني أسد، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا يسأل رجل وله أوقية أو عدلها، إلا سأل إلحافا "
