حديث رجل من بني ضمرة، عن رجل من قومه
Hadith 1069:1
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from a man from Banu Damra, from a man of his people, who said: I asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about the *'aqiqah* (sacrifice for a newborn). He said: "I do not like disobedience (*'uquq*), but whoever has a child born to him, and he would like to perform a sacrifice for him or on his behalf, then let him do so."
