Musnad Ahmad 1072:1

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from a man from Banu Harithah, that a man stabbed a she-camel in its throat (labbah) with a peg, fearing that it would escape him. He asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he ordered him—or he ordered them—to eat it.
