Musnad Ahmad 839:1

Hushaym narrated to us, Ibn ‘Awn informed us, a man from the people of the desert narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, that he performed Hajj with a relative of his, performing *Qiran* (combining Hajj and ‘Umrah). The Prophet (ﷺ) saw him and said: "What is this?" He said: "It is a vow." So he (the Prophet) ordered that the *Qiran* be severed.
