Musnad Ahmad 1047:1

Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Khalid al-Hadhdha' narrated to us, from 'Ammar ibn Abi 'Ammar, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: I used to say regarding the children of the polytheists that they are of them. Then a man narrated to me from a man among the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. I met him, and he narrated to me from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "Their Lord is more knowing of them; He created them, and He is more knowing of them and of what they would have been doing."
