Musnad Ahmad 1052:1

Isma'il narrated to us, Sa'id al-Jurayri narrated to us, from Abu Nadra, who said: Someone who heard the sermon of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) in the middle of the days of Tashriq narrated to me, saying: "O people, indeed your Lord is One, and your father is one. Indeed, there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, nor of a non-Arab over an Arab, nor of a red-skinned person over a black-skinned person, nor of a black-skinned person over a red-skinned person, except by piety. Have I conveyed [the message]?" They said: "The Messenger of Allah has conveyed it." Then he said: "What day is this?" They said: "A sacred day." Then he said: "What month is this?" They said: "A sacred month." He said: Then he said: "What land is this?" They said: "A sacred land." He said: "Indeed, Allah has made your blood and your wealth inviolable among you"—he said: "And I do not know if he said: 'or your honor' or not—like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours. Have I conveyed [the message]?" They said: "The Messenger of Allah has conveyed it." He said: "Let the witness convey it to the absent."
