Hadith 227:1
'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, Musa ibn 'Uqbah narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Nadr narrated to me, from a man who was of old from Banu Tamim, who was in the era of 'Uthman, a man reporting from his father, that he met the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, write for me a document that I shall not be held accountable for the crime of another." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: "That is for you, and for every Muslim."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا وهيب، حدثنا موسى بن عقبة، قال: حدثني أبو النضر، عن رجل كان قديما من بني تميم، كان في عهد عثمان، رجل يخبر، عن أبيه، أنه لقي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: يا رسول الله اكتب لي كتابا، أن لا أؤاخذ بجريرة غيري، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن ذلك لك، ولكل مسلم "
