Musnad Ahmad 857:1

'Abd al-Samad ibn 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, Sulayman—meaning Ibn al-Mughirah—narrated to us, from Humayd—meaning Ibn Hilal—who said: A man from the Tufawah tribe used to pass by us, and he came to the tribe and spoke to them. He said: "I arrived in Medina with a caravan of ours, and we sold our merchandise. Then I said: 'I will certainly go to this man [the Prophet] so that I may bring news of him to those after me.'" He said: "So I reached the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he began to show me a house. He said: 'A woman was in it, and she went out in a military expedition of the Muslims, and she left behind twelve of her goats and her weaving tool with which she used to weave.'" He said: "Then she missed one of her goats and her weaving tool. She said: 'O Lord, You have guaranteed for whoever goes out in Your path that You will protect for them [their property], and I have missed a goat of my goats and my weaving tool, and I adjure You for my goat and my weaving tool.'" He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, began to mention the intensity of her adjuring her Lord, Blessed and Exalted is He. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "So her goat appeared, and another like it, and her weaving tool appeared, and another like it. And there it is; go to her and ask her if you wish." He said: "I said: 'Rather, I believe you.'"
