Musnad Ahmad 231:1

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Sufyan informed us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, who said: Abdullah was approached regarding a woman whom a man married, then he died leaving her, and he had not assigned a dowry for her, nor had he consummated the marriage with her. He said: They differed before him, so he said: "I see that she is entitled to the like of the dowry of her peers, she has the right of inheritance, and she must observe the waiting period (iddah)." Then Ma'qil ibn Sinan al-Ashja'i testified: "That the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, judged regarding Birwa' bint Washiq with the same as what he (Abdullah) judged." *** Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Abdullah [ibn Ahmad] said: And I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, who said: A group of the people of Basra testified before me, among them al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Hasan, from Ma'qil ibn Sinan: That the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, passed by him while he was being cupped on the eighteenth (day of the month), and he said: "The one who cups and the one who is cupped have broken their fast."
