Hadith 806:17
Al-Hakam ibn Nafi’ Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, Isma’il ibn ‘Ayyash narrated to us, from Abu Shaybah Yahya ibn Yazid, from Zayd ibn Abi Unaysah, from Nufay’ ibn al-Harith, from Ma’qil al-Muzani, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded me to judge between a people. I said: "I do not know how to judge, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Allah is with the judge, as long as he does not act unjustly intentionally."
حدثنا الحكم بن نافع أبو اليمان، حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش، عن أبي شيبة يحيى بن يزيد، عن زيد بن أبي أنيسة، عن نفيع بن الحارث، عن معقل المزني، قال: أمرني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن أقضي بين قوم، فقلت: ما أحسن أن أقضي يا رسول الله؟ قال: " الله مع القاضي ما لم يحف عمدا "
