Hadith 806:5
'Abd al-Wahhab ibn 'Abd al-Majid al-Thaqafi Abu Muhammad narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us, from al-Hakam ibn 'Abd Allah al-A'raj, from Ma'qil ibn Yasar, "that he witnessed the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on the day of al-Hudaybiyah, while he was raising a branch from the branches of the tree with his hand, over the head of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, as he was taking the pledge of allegiance from the people. So they pledged allegiance to him that they would not flee, and they were, on that day, one thousand four hundred."
حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن عبد المجيد الثقفي أبو محمد، حدثنا خالد، عن الحكم بن عبد الله الأعرج، عن معقل بن يسار، " أنه شهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم الحديبية وهو رافع غصنا من أغصان الشجرة بيده، عن رأس رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يبايع الناس، فبايعوه على أن لا يفروا، وهم يومئذ ألف وأربع مائة "،
