Musnad Ahmad 1163:16

Sufyan narrated to us, from Manbudh, from his mother, that she heard it from Maymunah, who said: "One of us would spread out the prayer mat (khumrah) for the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while she was menstruating, and then he would pray upon it."
