Musnad Ahmad 1163:28

'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi and Abu 'Amir narrated to us, they said: Zuhayr—meaning Ibn Muhammad—narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn Muhammad—meaning Ibn 'Aqil—from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from 'Aishah, and 'Ata', from Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "Do not prepare nabidh (fermented drink) in the gourd (duba'), nor in the pitch-coated vessel (muzaffat), nor in the green glazed jar (hantam), nor in the hollowed-out log (naqir)." 'Abd al-Rahman said: "Nor in the earthenware jars (jirar), and every intoxicant is haram (forbidden)."
