Hadith of Maymunah bint al-Harith al-Hilaliyyah, the wife of the Prophet (SAW)
حديث ميمونة بنت الحارث الهلالية زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 1163:47
Waki' narrated to us, he said: Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Salim, from Kurayb, he said: Ibn Abbas narrated to us, from his maternal aunt Maymunah, she said: "I placed water for the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to perform ghusl, so he performed ghusl from janabah. Then I brought him a garment when he had finished his ghusl, but he gestured with his hand like this," meaning he refused it.
حدثنا وكيع، قال: حدثنا الأعمش، عن سالم، عن كريب، قال: حدثنا ابن عباس، عن خالته ميمونة، قالت: " وضعت للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم غسلا، فاغتسل من الجنابة، ثم أتيته بثوب حين اغتسل، فقال بيده هكذا " يعني رده
