Musnad Ahmad 1309:3

Ali ibn Bahr narrated to us, he said: Isa narrated to us, he said: Thawr narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn Abi Sawdah, from his brother, that Maymunah, the freed slave woman of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "O Prophet of God, give us a legal opinion regarding Jerusalem." He said: "The land of the gathering and the place of the resurrection. Go to it and pray in it, for a prayer in it is like a thousand prayers in what is other than it." She said: "What if one cannot bear to travel to it or go to it?" He said: "Then let him send oil to it to be used for lamps in it, for whoever sends a gift to it, it is as if he has prayed in it."
