Hadith 835:3
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, and Hajjaj narrated to us, they both said: Shu‘bah informed us, from Abu Bishr, from Salam ibn ‘Amr, from a man among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, who said: "Your brothers, so treat them well," or "so do good to them, and seek their help with what overcomes you, and help them with what overcomes them." Hajjaj said in his narration: He said: I heard Salam ibn ‘Amr and a man from his people. And Hajjaj said: "And do good to them."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، وحجاج، قالا: أخبرنا شعبة، عن أبي بشر، عن سلام بن عمرو، عن رجل من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إخوانكم فأحسنوا إليهم، أو فأصلحوا إليهم، واستعينوهم على ما غلبكم، وأعينوهم على ما غلبهم "، قال حجاج في حديثه: قال: سمعت سلام بن عمرو، ورجلا من قومه، وقال حجاج: وأصلحوا
