Hadith of Mihjan ibn al-Adra' (RA)

Hadith 717:3

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from ‘Abdullah ibn Shaqiq, from Raja’ ibn Abi Raja’, who said: Buraydah was at the door of the mosque, and Mihjan passed by him while he was praying, and he was wearing a *waskabah* (a type of garment). Buraydah, who had a playful nature, said to Mihjan: "Will you not pray as this one prays?" Mihjan said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took my hand and ascended Mount Uhud. He looked out over Medina and said: 'Woe to its mother, a city that its people will leave in its best state, or as its best state, then the Dajjal will come to it, and he will find at every one of its gates an angel with a drawn sword, so he will not enter it.'" He said: "Then he descended while he was holding my hand, and he entered the mosque. There was a man praying, and he said to me: 'Who is this?' I praised him well, so he said: 'Be silent, do not let him hear you, for you will destroy him.'" He said: "Then he came to the chamber of one of his wives, and he released his hand from my hand, and said: 'Indeed, the best of your religion is the easiest of it. Indeed, the best of your religion is the easiest of it.'"

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
