Hadith 537:1
Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, he said: Isma'il narrated to us, from Qays, from Mirdas al-Aslami, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "The righteous will be taken [in death], the first then the first, and there will remain [people] like the dregs of dates."
حدثنا محمد بن عبيد، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل، عن قيس، عن مرداس الأسلمي، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " يقبض الصالح الأول فالأول، ويبقى كحثالة التمر "
