Hadith 537:3
Ya'la narrated to us, he said: Isma'il narrated to us, from Qays, from Mirdas al-Aslami, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The righteous will be taken [in death], the first then the first, until there remains only the dregs of dates or barley, whom Allah will not care for at all."
حدثنا يعلى، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل، عن قيس، عن مرداس الأسلمي، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " يقبض الصالحون الأول فالأول، حتى يبقى كحثالة التمر أو الشعير، لا يبالي بهم شيئا "
