Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us—from his memory—he said: Sa'id ibn Abi Ayyub Abu Yahya narrated to me, he said: Abu Marhum Abd al-Rahim ibn Maymun narrated to me, from Sahl ibn Mu'adh al-Juhani, from his father, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever gives for the sake of Allah the Exalted, and withholds for the sake of Allah, and loves for the sake of Allah, and hates for the sake of Allah, and marries for the sake of Allah, then he has perfected his faith."
