Hadith 961:107
Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from al-Harith ibn Yazid, from 'Ali ibn Rabah, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As, from Mu'adh, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made a covenant with us regarding five things; whoever performs any of them is guaranteed by Allah: Whoever visits a sick person, or goes out with a funeral procession, or goes out as a warrior in the way of Allah, or enters upon an Imam intending by that to support him and honor him, or sits in his house so that the people are safe from him and he is safe.
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد، حدثنا ابن لهيعة، عن الحارث بن يزيد، عن علي بن رباح، عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، عن معاذ قال: عهد إلينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في خمس من فعل منهن كان ضامنا على الله: " من عاد مريضا، أو خرج مع جنازة، أو خرج غازيا في سبيل الله، أو دخل على إمام يريد بذلك تعزيره وتوقيره، أو قعد في بيته فيسلم الناس منه ويسلم "
