Hadith 961:118
Surayj ibn al-Nu‘man and Yunus narrated to us, they said: Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid narrated to us, from al-Sari ibn Yan‘am, from Murayh ibn Masruq, from Mu‘adh ibn Jabal: That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when he sent him to Yemen, said: "Beware of luxury, for the servants of Allah are not those who live in luxury."
حدثنا سريج بن النعمان، ويونس قالا: حدثنا بقية بن الوليد، عن السري بن ينعم، عن مريح بن مسروق، عن معاذ بن جبل: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لما بعث به إلى اليمن قال: " إياك والتنعم؛ فإن عباد الله ليسوا بالمتنعمين "
