Hadith 961:12
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Qurrah ibn Khalid narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, Abu al-Tufayl narrated to us, Mu'adh ibn Jabal narrated to us, he said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out on a journey he undertook, and that was during the expedition of Tabuk. He combined the Dhuhr and 'Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and 'Isha prayers." I said: "What prompted him to do that?" He said: "He wanted not to cause hardship for his nation."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن، حدثنا قرة بن خالد، عن أبي الزبير، حدثنا أبو الطفيل، حدثنا معاذ بن جبل، قال: " خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في سفرة سافرها، وذلك في غزوة تبوك، فجمع بين الظهر والعصر والمغرب والعشاء " قلت: ما حمله على ذلك؟ قال: " أراد أن لا تحرج أمته "
