Hadith 961:123
Zayd ibn Yahya al-Dimashqi narrated to us, Ibn Thawban narrated to us, from his father, from Makhul, from Kathir ibn Murrah, from Malik ibn Yukhamir al-Saksaki, who said: I heard Mu'adh say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever sustains a wound in the way of Allah shall come on the Day of Resurrection with its color being the color of saffron, and its scent being the scent of musk, upon him is the seal of the martyrs. And whoever asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely, Allah will grant him the reward of a martyr, even if he dies on his bed. And whoever fights in the way of Allah for the duration of the milking of a she-camel, Paradise becomes mandatory for him."
حدثنا زيد بن يحيى الدمشقي، حدثنا ابن ثوبان، عن أبيه، عن مكحول، عن كثير بن مرة، عن مالك بن يخامر السكسكي قال: سمعت معاذا يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من جرح جرحا في سبيل الله جاء يوم القيامة لونه لون الزعفران، وريحه ريح المسك عليه طابع الشهداء، ومن سأل الله الشهادة مخلصا أعطاه الله أجر شهيد، وإن مات على فراشه ومن قاتل في سبيل الله فواق ناقة وجبت له الجنة "
