Hadith 961:129
Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, and Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj said: Sulayman ibn Musa said: Malik ibn Yakhāmir narrated to us, that Mu’adh ibn Jabal narrated to him—and Rawh said: narrated to them—that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Whoever strives in the way of Allah—and Rawh said: fights in the way of Allah—as a Muslim man, for the duration of the milking of a she-camel, then Paradise has become mandatory for him. And whoever asks Allah for martyrdom from his own self, sincerely, then dies or is killed, then for him is the reward of the martyrs. And whoever is wounded with a wound in the way of Allah, or suffers a misfortune, it will come on the Day of Resurrection as abundant as it ever was—and ‘Abd al-Razzaq said: as most abundant, and Rawh said: as most abundant, and Hajjaj said: as most precious as it was—its color is like saffron, and its scent is like musk. And whoever is wounded in the way of Allah, then upon him is the seal of the martyrs."
