Hadith 961:24
Bahz narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas, that Mu'adh ibn Jabal narrated to him: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: "O Mu'adh ibn Jabal." He said: "At your service, O Messenger of Allah, and at your command." He said: "No servant testifies that there is no god but Allah, then dies upon that, except that he will enter Paradise." He said: I said: "Shall I not inform the people?" He said: "No, for I fear that they will rely upon it."
حدثنا بهز، حدثنا همام، حدثنا قتادة، عن أنس، أن معاذ بن جبل، حدثه: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال له: " يا معاذ بن جبل " قال: لبيك يا رسول الله وسعديك، قال: " لا يشهد عبد أن لا إله إلا الله، ثم يموت على ذلك إلا دخل الجنة " قال: قلت: أفلا أحدث الناس؟ قال: " لا، إني أخشى أن يتكلوا عليه "
