Hadith 961:34
Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from Tawus: Mu’adh was brought the *awqas* (fractions/amounts below the threshold) of cattle and honey. He said, "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not command me regarding them with anything." Sufyan said: "The *awqas* are what is less than thirty."
حدثنا سفيان، عن عمرو، عن طاوس، أتي معاذ، بوقص البقر والعسل، فقال: " لم يأمرني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فيهما بشيء " قال سفيان: " الأوقاص: ما دون الثلاثين "
