Hadith 961:36
Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Amir al-Aslami narrated to us, from al-Walid ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to us: "Seek refuge in Allah from a greed that leads to a nature [of baseness], and from a greed that leads to what is not a place of greed, and from a greed where there is no greed."
حدثنا محمد بن بشر، حدثنا عبد الله بن عامر الأسلمي، عن الوليد بن عبد الرحمن، عن جبير بن نفير، عن معاذ بن جبل، قال: قال لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " استعيذوا بالله من طمع يهدي إلى طبع، ومن طمع يهدي إلى غير مطمع، ومن طمع حيث لا طمع "
