Hadith 961:38
Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Thawban narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from Makhul, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The flourishing of Jerusalem is the ruin of Yathrib, and the ruin of Yathrib is the outbreak of the Great War (al-Malhama), and the outbreak of the Great War is the conquest of Constantinople, and the conquest of Constantinople is the emergence of the Dajjal." Then he struck his thigh or his shoulder, and then said: "Indeed, this is as true as you are sitting here." And Makhul used to narrate it from Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from Malik ibn Yukhāmir, from Mu'adh ibn Jabal, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the like of it.
حدثنا زيد بن الحباب، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن ثوبان، حدثني أبي، عن مكحول، عن معاذ بن جبل، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " عمران بيت المقدس خراب يثرب، وخراب يثرب خروج الملحمة، وخروج الملحمة فتح القسطنطينية، وفتح القسطنطينية خروج الدجال " ثم ضرب على فخذه أو على منكبه، ثم قال: " إن هذا لحق كما أنك قاعد " وكان مكحول، يحدث به عن جبير بن نفير، عن مالك بن يخامر، عن معاذ بن جبل، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، مثله
