Hadith 961:47
Rawh narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, who said: I heard 'Urwah ibn al-Nazzal—or al-Nazzal ibn 'Urwah—narrating from Mu'adh ibn Jabal. Shu'bah said: So I said to him, "Did he hear it from Mu'adh?" He said, "He did not hear it from him, but he lived in his time." That he said: "O Messenger of Allah, inform me of a deed that will cause me to enter Paradise." Then he mentioned the like of the hadith of Ma'mar, from 'Asim. Al-Hakam said: And I heard it from Maymun ibn Abi Shabib.
حدثنا روح، حدثنا شعبة، عن الحكم قال: سمعت عروة بن النزال أو النزال بن عروة يحدث، عن معاذ بن جبل قال: شعبة فقلت له: سمعه من معاذ؟ قال: لم يسمعه منه وقد أدركه. أنه قال: يا رسول الله، أخبرني بعمل يدخلني الجنة، فذكر مثل حديث معمر، عن عاصم قال الحكم: وسمعته من ميمون بن أبي شبيب
