Hadith 961:52
Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us, Abu Bakr—meaning Ibn Ayyash—narrated to us, Asim narrated to us, from Abu Wa’il, from Mu’adh, who said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent me to Yemen and commanded me to take from every adult [person] a dinar or its equivalent in Mu’afir [garments]. And he commanded me to take from every forty cows a musinnah [a cow in its third year], and from every thirty cows a tabi’ [a calf in its second year]. And he commanded me regarding what is watered by the sky [rain], a tenth, and what is watered by the buckets [irrigation], half a tenth.
حدثنا سليمان بن داود الهاشمي، حدثنا أبو بكر يعني ابن عياش، حدثنا عاصم، عن أبي وائل، عن معاذ قال: بعثني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى اليمن " وأمرني أن آخذ من كل حالم دينارا أو عدله معافر، وأمرني أن آخذ من كل أربعين بقرة مسنة، ومن ثلاثين بقرة تبيعا حوليا، وأمرني فيما سقت السماء العشر، وما سقي بالدوالي نصف العشر "
