Hadith 961:62
Rawh and Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from ‘Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Zabyah, from Mu’adh ibn Jabal, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no Muslim who spends the night remembering Allah while in a state of purity, then wakes up during the night and asks Allah for any good concerning the affairs of this world and the Hereafter, but He will grant it to him." Hasan said in his narration: Thabit al-Bunani said: "He came to us here and narrated this hadith from Mu’adh." Abu Salamah said: "I think he meant Abu Zabyah."
حدثنا روح، وحسن بن موسى قالا: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، عن عاصم بن بهدلة، عن شهر بن حوشب، عن أبي ظبية، عن معاذ بن جبل، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ما من مسلم يبيت على ذكر الله طاهرا، فيتعار من الليل فيسأل الله خيرا من أمر الدنيا والآخرة إلا أعطاه إياه " قال حسن في حديثه قال ثابت البناني: فقدم علينا هاهنا فحدث بهذا الحديث عن معاذ قال أبو سلمة أظنه عنى أبا ظبية
