Hadith 961:71
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, 'Amr ibn Abi Hakim narrated to me, from 'Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from Yahya ibn Ya'mar, from Abu al-Aswad, who said: A Jew was brought to Mu'adh, and his heir was a Muslim. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say—or he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Islam increases and does not decrease." So he granted him the inheritance.
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن شعبة، حدثني عمرو بن أبي حكيم، عن عبد الله بن بريدة، عن يحيى بن يعمر، عن أبي الأسود قال: أتي معاذ بيهودي وارثه مسلم فقال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: أو قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " الإسلام يزيد ولا ينقص " فورثه
