Hadith 961:81
Hashim—meaning Ibn al-Qasim—narrated to us, Hariz narrated to us, from Rashid ibn Sa’d, from ‘Asim ibn Humayd al-Sakuni—and he was one of the companions of Mu’adh—[who said]: I heard Mu’adh saying: "We watched for the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him"—meaning: we waited for him—and he mentioned its meaning.
حدثنا هاشم يعني ابن القاسم، حدثنا حريز عن راشد بن سعد، عن عاصم بن حميد السكوني وكان من أصحاب معاذ، سمعت معاذا يقول: إنا رقبنا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يعني: انتظرناه فذكر معناه
