Musnad Ahmad 435:10

'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Sa'd ibn Ibrahim informed me, from Ma'bad al-Juhani, who said: Mu'awiyah rarely narrated anything from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he would say these words which he rarely omitted, or he would narrate them on Fridays, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "Whoever Allah intends good for, He grants him understanding of the religion. And this wealth is sweet and green; whoever takes it with its right, it will be blessed for him in it. And beware of excessive praising, for it is the slaughter."
