Musnad Ahmad 435:12

Waki’ narrated to us, Usamah bin Zaid narrated to us, from Muhammad bin Ka’b al-Qurazi, who said: Mu’awiyah said upon the pulpit: "O Allah, there is no preventer for what You have given, and no giver for what You have prevented, and the wealth of the wealthy will not benefit him against You. Whoever Allah intends good for, He grants him understanding of the religion." I heard these words from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, upon this pulpit.
