Musnad Ahmad 435:31

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, and Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Shu‘bah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatadah narrating from Abu al-Tufayl. Hajjaj said in his narration: He said: I heard Abu al-Tufayl say: Mu‘awiyah and Ibn ‘Abbas arrived, so Ibn ‘Abbas performed Tawaf and touched all the corners. Mu‘awiyah said to him: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, only touched the two Yemeni corners." Ibn ‘Abbas said: "There is nothing of its corners that is abandoned." Hajjaj said: Shu‘bah said: "People differ regarding this hadith; they say: Mu‘awiyah is the one who said: 'There is nothing of the House that is abandoned,' but he [Shu‘bah] memorized it from Qatadah in this manner."
