Musnad Ahmad 435:4

Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: I found this hadith in my father’s book in his own handwriting. He said: Muhammad ibn Bakr, who is al-Bursani, narrated to us, saying: Ibn Jurayj informed us, saying: ‘Amr ibn Yahya narrated to me that ‘Isa ibn ‘Umar informed him, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Alqamah ibn Waqqas, from ‘Alqamah ibn Waqqas, who said: I was with Mu’awiyah when his caller to prayer gave the call. Mu’awiyah said as the caller said, until when he said: "Hayya ‘ala as-salah" (Come to prayer), he said: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (There is no power and no strength except by Allah). When he said: "Hayya ‘ala al-falah" (Come to success), he said: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah." And he said after that what the caller said. Then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say that.
