Musnad Ahmad 435:51

Yahya ibn Hammad narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah ibn al-Hajjaj narrated to us, from Jarad, a man from Banu Tamim, from Raja' ibn Haywah, from Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whoever Allah intends good for, He grants him understanding of the religion."
