Musnad Ahmad 435:76

Yazid narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd informed us, from his father, from Ma'bad al-Juhani, who said: I heard Mu'awiyah—and he was one who spoke little about the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he rarely gave a sermon without mentioning this hadith in his sermon—I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "Indeed, this wealth is sweet and green. Whoever takes it by its right, Allah the Almighty and Majestic will bless him in it. And whoever Allah intends good for, He grants him understanding of the religion. And beware of praise, for it is the slaughter."
