Musnad Ahmad 303:2

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Mutarrif ibn ‘Abdullah, from his father, that a man reached the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) while he was saying—and Waki’ said once: That he reached the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) while he was reciting: "Competition in increase diverts you, until you visit the graveyards" [At-Takathur: 1-2]. He said: "The son of Adam says: 'My wealth, my wealth.' And do you have of your wealth except what you gave in charity and sent forth, or what you wore and wore out, or what you ate and consumed?"
