Musnad Ahmad 303:4

Hajjaj narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatadah say: I heard Mutarrif ibn 'Abdullah ibn al-Shikhkhir narrating from his father, who said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "Are you the master (sayyid) of Quraysh?" The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The Master is Allah." He said: "Are you the best of them in speech and the greatest of them in merit?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Let one of you speak according to his speech, and let not Satan drag him."
