Hadith of Nabit ibn Sharit (RA)

Hadith 663:2

Yahya ibn Zakariya ibn Abi Za'idah narrated to us, Abu Malik al-Ashja'i narrated to me, Nabit ibn Sharit narrated to me, he said: I was riding behind my father during the Farewell Pilgrimage, when the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, spoke. I stood on the rear of the mount and placed my hand on my father's shoulder, and I heard him say: "What day is the most sacred?" They said: This day. He said: "And what land is the most sacred?" They said: This land. He said: "And what month is the most sacred?" They said: This month. He said: "Indeed, your blood and your wealth are sacred to you, like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours. Have I conveyed?" They said: Yes. He said: "O Allah, bear witness. O Allah, bear witness."
